     What a great weekend at Florida! My last collegiate MTB race this year for Lees McRae. I finished in a solid 11th and I knew I gave it my all because I nearly passed out of heat exhaustion at the end of the race. It was probably because of the massive elevation gain of 300 feet per 6 mile lap. It really did start to get hot towards the end of the 2hr race. We used the old Ice in pantyhose trick to try to cool ourselves down on the last two laps.
      It was a REALLY comfortable 10 hour trip back to Lees McRae because we were so filthy from the race. But all in all I had fun with some great friends. Getting pretty stoked for my parents and brother to come out and hang out with me this next week! Its going to be super fun :) can't wait!!!
