I've been off my bike for about 2 weeks now... Finally got to see the doctor today who wasn't much help but got an MRI scheduled for Monday. I was able to ride around the neighborhood and my knee felt fine spinning... But, when I put a little power down I felt pain almost immediately. Despite the pain when I push hard I think I could do a nice easy spin tomorrow on some flat roads. But I have to be extremely cautious. As anxious as I am to ride now my main goal is to be able to ride Aug. 8th at Lees McRae for mountain bike camp. Keep me in your prayers that my knee will heal to 100% by then.
This blog is about my Lees McRae college and collegiate cycling experience. Lees McRae is a small college of around 900 students located in Banner Elk, North Carolina. But don't let the small size of this school fool you, Lees McRae is home to one of the nations top D1 cycling teams. I hope you all enjoy watching me grow as a person and cyclist these next four years of my life.
